So good that I went twice in one day excellent coffees, both for dine-in & take-home options. Haven't tried their food yet, but the pastries looked good too.
Friendly employees, great service, comfortable atmosphere. I often stay several hours when I come. This is my favorite local coffee shop, perfect for study, great food, or a chat with a friend.
The price of this coffee is dirt cheap but the taste is out of this world. Why would you hit up a chain when this gem is right down the road?
My go-to drink is an Americano with no cream or sugar. Just espresso and water. And Avenue 209 executes it flawlessly. The staff is friendly and environment is inviting. If you are in the Lock Haven area, you have to stop in a check it out.

I wish I took more pictures when visiting but it was a really cozy place, plenty of seating, and just an overall great atmosphere. But that's not all. The menu options were extensive but not overwhelmingly so. Something for everyone. I got a hot thin mint latte in the morning. And the flavoring wasn't overpowering but just enough. The service was really friendly, the prices were reasonable, and the Almond Joy scones were delicious! Be sure to ask for it warmed up! I went back later just before closing to order an iced latte (Samoa this time) for the long drive tomorrow morning since I'm leaving before they open. Had a great chat with the baristas and they even gave me an extra shot for the road. Next time I'm back in town for work you can be sure I'll come by here again! Hands down recommend as a place to visit
Delicious coffee and bagels! Based on the reviews, I had a mountain man and my sister chose tuxedo. We both thought our flavor was the best. We also got bagels, choosing flavors neither of us had tried before: lemon thyme and rosemary salt. Both were wonderful! The team was so helpful and friendly! An excellent way to start the day!
If you're looking for a specialty coffee in Lock Haven, give this place a try. I had a Mountain Man Latte. I'm told it was dark chocolate and vanilla flavored. It went down way to quick (great taste). Several locals were conducting meetings or doing work on laptops. Their granola parfaits are yummy too. I will definitely be returning. I wonder if they have a frequent buyers card?
